It looks like Joplin doesn’t store URL for clipped screenshots. The created notes has empty value for URL (in both desktop app and SQLite DB).
I’m not sure if it’s by design, but I think that the URL should be there, just as for any other clip method.
It should be there. What URL did you try with?
Just about any. For example, with Joplin homepage:
Neither in UI, nor in DB’s notes.source_url
It’s Linux, Firefox 69, Web Clipper 1.0.18 installed today from Mozilla’s page. Joplin 1.0.170 run from AppImage.
Ok that’s strange, I was sure it was saving the URL. I’ve added an issue to track this: https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/issues/1990
