I noticed the update yesterday contained a printing fix. Unfortunately it didn't fix my problem. Maybe the fix was for the Windows issue you linked to.

Thanks for pointing that out! I believe it is exactly the same problem. I'm following the other query.

That's very interesting. I sometimes get the impression that there is some sort of message window there when I shut the computer down hours later. I'll try to keep my eye open for that.
