What issue do you have?

I just created a Joplin Cloud Pro account for myself and a Joplin Cloud Basic account for another user. I then created a new notebook and attempted to share it from the Pro account to the Basic account using the desktop client. This gave me the error "The share permission feature is not enabled for this account" (see attached screenshot). The Basic account user never receives any notification that a sharing attempt occurred.

Is it true that I should be able to share a notebook from a Pro account to a Basic account? Has anyone else encountered this or know of a resolution?

I did find this Github issue, which may be related, though it's not an exact match: 2025-01-27 - share permission feature not enabled · Issue #11733 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub. There a Teams account is trying to share with a Basic user, and the error occurs when the Basic user attempts to accept the invite. In my case, the error occurs when I initiate the invite.

I observed the same behavior on Linux with 3.2.11, 3.2.13, and the 3.3.2 pre-release AppImage as well as on Windows with the 3.2.13 release.

It should indeed be possible. I created an issue here to track this:
