What issue do you have?

When using Bullets
A) a line break is forced between my lead and first bullet. I would like not to have it,

2010√ Kazuo Ishiguro (N)

  • √ Remains of the Day
  • The Unconsoled

B) If I let the first line be bulleted, I can not get the following bullets to be 2nd level; they indent but do not show second level bullets

  • 2014 Patrick Modiano√
    Lacomb, Lucien (Screen play)√ ..
    Occupation Trilogy

If I get what I want, say in Google Docs, the cut an paste to Joplin, showing both levels, but I can't create or edit to do this
I have tried various things in both RTE and markdown editors

Not sure I have a solution for A)
but B) can be forced by
CR - to create a new bullet
tab - to make it 2nd level

Thanks. it works as you say, using Joplin Enter key, leaving a blank line between bullet points. But, using Shift-Enter so as to not leave the blank line, the desired bullet point does not appear. Tab will move all bullets to the right, not just the single, second level line

Not on my device, when I create a bulleted list, let's say 4 lines, each ending with CR, then go back up to the beginning the second (for example) and hit tab ...
only the second line is indented.
