What issue do you have?

Is it a bug or feature that I fail to understand?

Occasionally, when attempting to share content to Joplin from another application using the "Share with Joplin" option, the Joplin app launches but fails to open the expected "New Note" screen. Instead, Joplin simply opens to its last-viewed notebook, and the shared content is not captured.

Expected Behavior (my understanding of it):

Upon selecting "Share with Joplin," the app should consistently open a "New Note" screen, pre-populated with the shared content. This screen should also include a dropdown menu in the header, allowing the user to select or change the target notebook for the new note.

Step to Reproduce unexpected bug/feature:
I don't know when and why it happenes. Sometimes just doesn't share i.e. does not create a new note.
