When pressing back from a notebook it currently goes to “All Notes”. If we could select to have it open the list of notebooks instead of all notes that would be wonderful.
That behavior isn't always the case. Also, the top-left hamburger menu button already opens the sidebar (and thus, the list of notebooks). Does this existing feature not fulfill your need?
I agree with the original comment. I never go to the All Notes view intentionally, but I still see it regularlylwhen I accidentally press the back button too often when trying to get back to the notebook view
The problem is it is a bad workflow, for a phone.
If I finish in a note and want to get to another note in the same notebook that’s easy press back and I’m in that notebook already. If I want to get to a note in a different directory/notebook logically I would press back again (just how it works if in sub notebooks). If I get to all notes and back up one more time I exit the app and have to reopen it.
The hamburger menu is an option but requires to reposition my hand or use both hands since it is at the opposite side from the keyboard.
The other downside with all notes is it does not show what notebook you are selecting a note from. So if I use it to keep track of different projects I could have several notes with the same name like “ToDo”, Contacts, Goals…
