Ability to record voice notes natively

Hello,

A feature I believe could come in really handy is the ability to record voice notes natively on any platform.
I could see myself using this feature when I call manufacturuers of products I use.
If the company representative gives me directions on how to accomplish a given task using their product, I'd already have the steps because joplin would be able to pickup the audio from the call & import it.
Optionally, transcription could also be done to turn this audio into text.
what does everyone think of this idea?

Hi,

This feature should be available in the latest Android and iOS beta releases. To use it,

  1. Open the note actions menu.
  2. Click "Attach".
  3. Click "Recording".

For now, it's mobile-only.

I only have attach file or take photo.
What am I missing?

Audio recording is currently only available in the pre-release version of Joplin.
