Ver 2.8.8, Win10. HTML notes.

When using the buttons to switch to MD view (to see the generated HTML), then back to WYSIWYG view, the WYSIWYG toolbar collapses, not showing all buttons. This happens even when the note window is more than wide enough for the toolbar. If the Note window is 930 pixels wide or more, this doesn't happen.

I notice that when switching, the redraw of the toolbar buttons is rather slow.

After some experimenting I see what you mean. Please post an issue report on GitHub with a step by step guide on how to reproduce this bug. The markup mode (html or markdown) does not matter.
