Welcome to GSoC 2026 with Joplin!

Hello everyone,

I’m Arjit Singh, a B.Tech Computer Science student specializing in AI/ML with a minor in Data Analytics at Amity University, Gurugram, India. Alongside my degree, I’ve completed Harvard’s CS50 and am currently pursuing CS50 Web to sharpen my foundations in software development.

I’m thrilled to be part of this community and excited about the opportunity to contribute to GSoC 2026. My technical strengths lie in Python, C, and full-stack web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flask, React, and Django). I enjoy building impactful applications, debugging iteratively, and structuring projects in a modular way that makes them scalable and user-friendly.

Why Joplin?
I’m deeply interested in privacy-focused applications, and Joplin’s mission resonates with me. The idea of empowering users to manage their notes and data securely, while keeping the experience simple and accessible, is something I strongly believe in. I’d love to contribute to enhancing Joplin’s features, improving usability, and strengthening its open-source ecosystem.

What do I hope to get out of GSoC?
Through GSoC, I hope to gain hands-on experience in collaborative open-source development, make meaningful contributions to Joplin, and grow under the guidance of mentors and the community. I’m eager to learn, contribute, and build solutions that help users keep their data private, secure, and organized.
