Unhelpful conflict debug messages when syncing with DropBox

What issue do you have?

10: Trying to sync with Dropbox on a new machine, it tells me "Some items cannot be synchronised. View them now"
20: I click them on "View them now" and I am presented with screenshot below. I click on 'retry them all' and the list disappears.
30: Until I switch to another app, then come back to Joplin
40: GOTO 10

There is no 'Conflicts' folder with all the notes. there is that criptic list with items such as

hqdefault_443f553/30c24114a1c69bc876363214.webp \
    (17142b35d61b43c3ac992feab5844167) could not be uploaded: Trying to \
    upload resource, but only metadata is present.

I have no idea what the conflicted notes are and cannot resolve them manually.
