The Docker image is huge

The Docker image joplin/server is huge with around 4.45GB.
I wonder if this is really necessary or if it contains numerous unnecessary packages?

I see 528 MB on Docker hub

This is probably the compressed size?
After a docker image pull i see 4.45GB on my local system.
