As someone who uses Joplin daily, I wish I could support Joplin financially - unfortunately, I do not have the money to do that currently.

With that said, I just saw that GitHub is soon releasing GitHub Sponsors and I saw Joplin being a project that would be a prime candidate for the program.

I wanted to let @laurent know about this and say thanks for the awesome work. I hope things could work out here with funding.

Thanks, I’ve actually been registered with the program for a few months now. So far Patreon seems to be more active but will see how it goes.
