How on earth do I get rid of that huge black area, its made the tool unusable and nothing works. The only obvious thing is to slide it.. It wont budge This is windows 10
have you tried view | reset application layout?
Also there's a chance this is a plugin, so you might want to review them to find out which one it is. If you do find out what it is please let us know
Disable all your plugins in the settings, the black square should be gone. Then enable them one at a time (and restart the app each time) to find the culprit.

Ill do that after all else has failed. Ive spent tie trying to get a workable layout and its a struggle all the way.
Ive discovered/remembered something that may be having an impact.
I’m using it on my big meeting room screen so I can sit comfortable and see the screen ( back injury)
To make that actually work ( read the text) I have to right click and increase the scale a lot. That doesn’t impact every item on the screen equally. I imagine some is sized in percentages and some in pixels etc. I used to program and when I get some time and read up on the language used, I should be capable of dealing with any code issues, but that’s just guessing until I get to the point where I can find and read the code.

Ive somehow, accidentally got it moving again, I have no idea how. Ill have to settle for that at this point. If it breaks again, Ill let you know and try to spot whats happening.
