Sharing of non-root notebooks

I searched GitHub issues and Features for sharing. I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

If I have a project which has several sub-notebooks, for example, marketing and devops. I'd like to be able to only share the devops sub-notebook with devops, without it being moved to a root notebook, akin to Notion, for example.

Has this been asked before? If so, please link me here and close the topic.
If not, I'd be happy to see any discussion.

It cannot currently be done, and I don't think it will ever be supported. Shared notebook are special and indeed always have to be at the root.
