Search function not working anymore?

I am using Joplin portable in Windows 10 with following configuration:

Joplin 1.0.216 (prod, win32)
Client ID: 40d3272809504f35b540692fa1f6b9ff
Sync Version: 1
Profile Version: 29
Révision : 4eb680d6 (master)

This is the portable version I downloaded from the https://joplinapp.org/ start page.

I noticed today that the search function is not working anymore (I am not sure whether I used it since the last time I updated Joplin last week).
It seems to work for the very first search. For the other searches afterwards, when I enter a word in the search bar at the top of the screen, the list of notes are not filtered and the note field remains grey. The only thing it does is highlighting the searched words in the “list of notes” panel. And only if the searched word is contained in the titles.
The search seems to be still working when I switch to basic search with the slash.
It also works fine on my android smartphone.

and i’ve tried a few different searches, but i’m not seeing this problem.

Where can I find the 1.0.218 portable version please? (I just downloaded the portable version available at https://joplinapp.org/, but it seems to be still the 1.0.216.

if you enable re-releases in your settings. or you can go to the github page https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/releases. i haven’t personally had any significant issues with .218, but i’m not really a power user.

Thank you, I tried it. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. While doing my investigations, I found an old backup of my notes (outdated) with Joplin 1.0.216. The search function was working well in this back-up instance.
I guess there might be some kind of corruption in my current database. I will open a new support ticket to ask for help with corrupted database.
