Right-click feature access / current note not visible in list

Using Joplin 2.5.12. I'm enjoying the new external links feature (joplin://). However, I only see how to get a link from the list by right-clicking.

When I use Ctrl-P to "goto anything", the list of notes does not scroll / update to show the current note, as it would if I had used a regular search. Consequently, I can't grab that note's link, or access other features only accessible through right-click.

Is there a way to do either of these?

  1. Access that same set of list right-click features directly from the note, not relying on first finding it in the list?
  2. Cause the note list to scroll / highlight the currently visible note?
