Plugin recommendations / scoring / quality

Hi,

currently there are only two categories of plugins:

  • Recommended ("The Joplin team trusts the developer(s) of this plugin")
  • the rest

There are only few "Recommended" plugins.

Among "the rest" there are surly good quality plugins. How to find them? Would be nice if Joplin app or web page helped somehow.

For example looking at Joplin Plugins the 4th most popular plugin is Outline plugin. It does not have the "Recommended" tag. But looking at it's GitHub page we can see it is actively developed, has multiple releases, a good number of stars, not many issues etc. It looks like a trustworthy plugin.

Could this information be somehow utilized by Joplin, so you don't have to look by yourself plugin-by-plugin (or at least you have a somehow idea if the plugin might be trustworthy or is it something new written by AI) ?

This is a very good suggestion. I will also appreciate this if there is any possibility to show these good plugins also on the plugin page of Joplin..
