Permissions: 'Take photos' doesn't work (Murena /e/)

What issue do you have?

When selecting 'Attachment / Take photo' from the MD editor, I get a black screen (still labelled Joplin in application browser). Joplin is then stalled ('back' action has no effect, I need to close it and reopen).

'Attachment / Record audio' works, as well as 'Attachment / Attach file' with a photo (so my current workflow is to have camera open besides Joplin and attach the most recent pic taken, less convenient).

I guess it's a permission issue: I was asked to allow Joplin microphone access (and it's listed in mike permitted apps), whereas I've never been asked to allow it camera access (and it's not listed there).

Maybe specific to /e/ OS ( /e/ (operating system) - Wikipedia )

Does your Joplin app come from F-Droid? If yes, then this is expected, because that version hasn’t got all the capabilities the normal release has. This is explicitly mentioned in the F-Droid’s description of Joplin.

Ah sorry, I hadn't read carefully enough the F-Droid description.

What about export features: I don't see a way to produce HTML or PDF, whereas "Joplin is also capable of exporting to a number of other formats including HTML and PDF which can be done for single notes, notebooks or everything": is it me or F-droid?

I think those features are only available in the desktop version…
