OneDrive sync

HI,

I'm switching to joplin because I'm gradually moving away from Office and I want to switch to Linux.

I did sync notes to my OneDrive but I can't find the App/Joplin directory inside my OneDrive directory... it doesn't seem to create it.

Where could I look?

Joplin - menu - help - open profile directory

ok

so I don't understand why the option to synchronize on onedrive is given but the folder is saved somewhere else entirely

Joplin syncronizes your profile with the cloud. The profile is local storage for your notes saved to the cloud. The local profile is necessary for proper functioning of offline access to notes

scratch that, I misunderstood the original question it seems. I thought you're asking where's the local profile located.

As far as I understand Joplin should create Apps/Joplin folder on your onedrive cloud. Try looking for it by clicking My files inside onedrive web interface

Ok I created the Joplin dir under Apps (not very intuitive) but after the sync I still have nothing on my onedrive.

Most of all the info says that Joplin should create that directory

BTW I tested a sync on linux and on my android and it seem works... I don't know where the files are saved but it is working

Please keep in mind that you're not supposed to touch those files outside of Joplin (so not being able to find them easily is likely a good thing ).

yes of course, but I would like to understand where those files are
