Apart from the ability to sort notebooks by title or updated date or to sort notes by created date, updated date, title or even a custom sort, what type of sort is missing?
If you are going to suggest a feature it is often considered polite to actually suggest the feature.
Thanks for you're reply. I am not able to find these options in the Android app and if they are there they are not obvious.
Please specify how I can sort my notebooks by name.

In the Android app notebooks are sorted by title (name) although for newly created notebooks the sort may not be applied until after Joplin next syncs and refreshes. Notes are sorted using the menu in the top right corner that looks like a downwards arrowhead comprising three horizontal lines.
