Just wanted to say that I got the synchronization on a loop as well after upgrading on Desktop. Downgrading wasn't helping. Switching to prerelease didn't help.
What did the trick was:
- Synching on Android while syncing on Desktop
- This stopped the sync on Desktop and afterwards everything was syncing peachfully
