Need help on iOS camera roll attachment

I’m a new user … not sure how or where to post
I need help to resolve this issue…
On iOS there is only one option to attach a photo. If I click it I can take a picture but I cannot choose any from my photos library.

Using iOS 10.3.2 on an IPhone 7+

This issue has been open for weeks, any solution in sight? I really need to use this feature so I can use Joplin. Thanks - Rob

If you use the option to attach a file does it work?

Attaching from the camera roll is not done yet but is a planned feature.

Yes I can attach a file.

And by selecting to attach a file, can’t you pick a picture too? Or is that separated on iOS?

It is separated in IOS.

No worries, all good. When I saw just the title in the RSS feed, I thought: Awesome, somebody wants to do the coding. Then I read the text…

Anyway, @laurent opened a gh ticket (which means it will be fixed at some point):
