Moving Joplin Desktop App. Which files can I save?

What issue do you have?

Just getting around to moving from OneNote and noticed I originally installed Joplin inside a Dropbox folder a few months ago (...I don't know why).

2 Questions:

  1. I assume I need to uninstall / re-install in a root directory. Or is it OK to leave it there?
  2. Can I save any of the preference/customization files and overwrite after a new install to a different location?
