Move tasks into any order

What issue do you have?

I create several tasks in a folder that I have to complete during the week. I often have to sort the tasks so that tasks have to be moved from further down to the top. I have set the custom order under “View” - “Sort notes by”. However, the tasks move to a completely different position. I have tried it several times, even with other tasks, but it does not move to the point where I want it. I have tried uninstalling Joplin, but unfortunately the problem persists. I had two extensions which I uninstalled.

I´m not sure I understand what you mean, but have you tried to un-check "View" > "Uncompleted todos on top"?

Also, right click on the folder in the left panel and check "Toggle own sort order" ?

Yes, I have tried that. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either. The tasks in the notebook can't be sorted the way I want. I have switched on the “custom order”, but the tasks still move to a different position.
