Joplin Terminal HotFolder Plugin Question

Is it possible to use plugins with the Joplin Terminal application? Thinking that it would be nice to be able to have the terminal application running in a docker container coupled with the Hot Folder plugin. That way I could dump files into a network share from anywhere at any time and have it added to my notes without wondering if one of my computers was on.

If I am correct, plugins are currently only available for the desktop version. For the docker cli version you could use my python hotfolder script.
