I made a couple of plugins for sync'ing Joplin notes to and from markdown files on your disk. I needed this because I sometimes want a subset of Joplin notes to live inside a git repo or other type of project. I want some notes to be legible to dev tools like git, but still have them be part of my notebooks.
These plugins add two-way sync between Joplin and files on the file system. Because the plugin can delete files and notes please be careful and make sure you have backups. This is beta software.
Does this use the internal note ids for filenames like the external editing feature, or it will load in md files with whatever name you give it? If the latter, how does it track when a file is renamed / moved?
No at the moment it's just one folder deep. Recursing into sub-folders had a bunch of edge cases and looked more complicated so I thought I'd keep it simple for now.
If Joplin itself was able to do this it would be amazing! Thanks for making it, I am a daily user.
