Just wanted to say how grateful I am that this app exists, is open source, cross platform, supports cloud backup and is being actively maintained. I'll be sure to support it when I get a job! Thank you so much to everyone involved in this project! This is helping me a lot more than I imagined with my studies.
Joplin is the best cross platform markdown note taking app with cloud sync. Huge thanks to the devs!

As a long-time Evernote (Legacy) user who very recently switched to Joplin, I fully agree. It's been a very smooth transition to Joplin.

I was using Evernote before switching to Keep (Google) but nothing beats Joplin!
