I have worked for months on a note (Krankengeschichte) which converts to a 54 page pdf including 15 pages of annotations. The result is still visible on joplin cloud at https://w6ywfwv4ql.joplinusercontent.com/shares/*** , but the note itself is gone. Is it recoverable?
The last action was to copy the last section and copy that to a new note - this is still present with correct content (Aussichten). To this end, if I remember correctly, I tried to change the layout which showed only the editor panel. Now my layout is crippled and there seems to be no way back.

It should be possible to restore the default app layout using the "View" menu. To do this:
Open the "View" menu.
Click "Reset application layout".
(Optional) If the above doesn't help, I suggest making a copy of Joplin's most recent automatic backup. By default, Joplin stores only one backup. To create a copy,
Open file explorer.
Navigate to C:\YourUserName\JoplinBackup\ and copy its contents to a safe place.
Thank you very much. I recovered something from the backup, now denoted as Krankenhausaufenthalt (1), having the note Krankengeschichte. It seems to be a pretty recent version.
But the edit panel still is way too small, the result panel also, and I have a toc panel which is of no use.
I worked fine for a long time wirh only the edit panel - how can I get this state back?
