I deleted the notes accidentally. And, I could not find the notes from the onedrive.
Can I recover the data?

Hi,

I suggest:

  1. Making a copy of the Joplin backup file: Before trying to recover the data in a different way, I suggest making a copy of the Joplin backup file in /Users/YourUserName/JoplinBackup/ (if it's present) and storing it in a safe place. By default, the backup plugin (included with Joplin) creates automatic backups.
    • I suggest doing this as soon as possible because Joplin periodically overwrites the backup file with newer content.
  2. Checking the trash folder: After making a copy of the backup file, check whether the "Trash" notebook in the sidebar contains the notes:

  3. If not in the trash folder, try restoring from the backup: See the backup plugin's guide on restoring a single note.

If none of these work, it may be possible to restore from OneDrive file history.
