In the Windows system, there are a large number of plugins, but on mobile devices such as iOS, there are no outline plugins. When my notes are very long, I have to scroll up and down my screen, which is a very bad experience. I'm really looking forward to outline plugins on mobile devices!
The problem is that we can only add plugins that have been reviewed to the iOS app, and we haven't reviewed everything yet. Maybe we should for popular plugins like this one, but more generally we need to implement the task below to really bring all (or most) plugins to iOS:
Will the official release such a feature without the need to install plugins, similar to the outline directory in Typora, allowing for jumping to # headings? This would make the software operation more convenient.
I found a neat trick to genarate a table of contents on any note. You could add 1 line to the top of all your notes to help with navigation. It works in the rich text editor on mobile as well (but you have to switch between view and edit mode or exit the note for it to refresh):
FYI I do think a note outline feature which can be opened via a menu option built into the app would be better though, so you don’t have to scroll to the top (or wherever you put the toc in the note) to access it
