Hi, @Himanshu_jain , if I understand this thread and your replies in Will ever be availabe an android widgets that lets you have a note always open on the home screen
You are a part of Joplin core team and you are currently working on the long overdue Android widget?
Can you confirm in this thread and also post any updates once you have some time on your hands?
I was eyeing any development of Android widget for some time since it was put to ice (rightly) by @laurent due to it being too much to maintain.
With recent advances in AI assisted coding, I feel like it is not the case anymore and I am thrilled to see you working on it!
But this is taking too much efforts with no potential upside. And I have to upload this project seperately in my repo.
If there way to popular my repo I'm happy to build the modded joplin in my repo with user demand features update
Oh, so you are a not part of Joplin core team.
@laurent , what do you think? Is the time right to add the widget to android? Anyone else considering working on it? @Himanshu_jain seems dedicated, but would definitely benefit from some help.
