Today is Scott Joplin's birthday, the King of Ragtime!
The app is named after him, and his compositions were a constant companion during its early development. I spent many coding sessions listening to his ragtime masterpieces, and they brought just the right mix of focus, creativity and rhythm.
So here's to the man whose music helped shape a note-taking app! Happy birthday, Scott Joplin - thank you for the inspiration 
He plays the piano with straightforward melodies, but manages to keep us entertained.

My parents had a few vinyl album collections of his work, to include, of course, The Sting soundtrack. I listened to them endlessly as I was growing up. Great stuff.
His pieces are among those I attempt to play on the piano, which are quite hard for smaller hands but I get so much joy out of them I keep at it.
