good evening. I am not sure if I am here in the right category.
I updated today under Manjaro (Arch-Linux derivate) to Joplin 1.0.161.
After using the web-clipper, Joplin shows the followin error:
Error: SQLITE_BUSY: database is locked: COMMIT
How can I fix it?
Thank you for your help
Is the webclipper done with creating the note? Did it say “note created successfully”?
This error is technically only possible, if Joplin and the web clipper are trying to write to the database simultaneously and should be gone when one or the other has succeeded.
Restarting Joplin and/or your browser (with the Joplin add-on) should fix the issue. However, you should not get this error constantly. e.g getting the error in the app once in the desktop app is ok, but then it should be gone, the next time Joplin tries to write to the database (unless the clipper process is hanging somehow).
Hi, Tessus -
thanks a lot, it was exactly the issue you described. After a complete reboot everything is fine, and I checked the sync also with an Androidhandy and my tablet.
I appreciate your friendly help,
