Error moving from DB to Webdav

Hi,

I am trying to switch from Dropbox to a webdav (from the provider Stack/Transip). I followed instructions that were posted on the forum yet i still get an error (see below).

Extra Info:
I do have 2FA set up with the Stack account. I once got a “how to” on which password i should use on which occasion.
I either have to do one of the 3 things to log in:

  1. Use the username and password of the account.
  2. Use the username and the 2FA code that generated
  3. login their webinterface and there give an access token which basically gives me a generated password to give permission to the webdav.

Neither of these options work with Joplin though. Below you see the error i get back and the versions.

Error. Please check that URL, username, password, etc. are correct and that the sync target is accessible. The reported error was:

PROPFIND : Unknown error 2 (405): STACK

  • The version of joplin is 1.0.201

Sounds like it means this method is not defined for this URL, and that's often an indication that you didn't give the right URL to Joplin. So maybe double-check the URL and make sure it's the WebDAV one.

Also maybe try without 2FA first.

Thanks for your reply. You are right. There was a very small, hard to see spelling mistake in the url.
