Due dates?

I see mention of due dates but not exactly how to use them in a note or task. I'd also like to understand how to search for them as mentioned here
If anyone can point me to a rescue or add some insight, I'd appreciate it!

Only todos have a due date!

  1. Click on new todo
  2. Set alarm

Than you can filter for the dates in the search field.

I didn't realize due dates and reminders were the same thing in Joplin, Thanks for clarifying.
