What issue do you have?

I will try to have my joplin database on an external drive.
I wanted to know who else did this and if you encountered issues (trash, backup, plugins, sync, encryption).
I heard about Mac users (for example with Cresstone Link Maker) who did this but not Linux users...
Is this really working : "Current Best Practices for Using Portable AppImage on Linux?" ?
The JOPLIN appimage will on the desktop computer and not on the USB drive.
