Desktop: "Select all" in the note list

I’d like to modify the “select all” behaviour when actioned on the note list.

Currently it works like this:

select-all-current
select-all-current917×705 129 KB

I want to change it to instead select all notes in the note list, like this:

select-all-new
select-all-new917×705 34.7 KB

Does anyone see any problem with this?

I think the standard key for “select all” is Ctrl-A (Linux, WIndows) or Cmd-A (Mac). Is this correct?

@sergei_mipt welcome to the forum.

The original post is three years old. Joplin desktop now does this.

Select a note in the note list to ensure that focus is on the list, press CTRL+A, all the notes in the list are selected.
