I can’t find this feature yet, or did I miss something?
I want to copy notes “as files” into AI chats. Not the content (Claude often automatically makes a file of that), not the link, the file (without having to save the note as a file first).

You can right-click on the note in the note list and export it in various formats. Is that what you mean?
No, I want to select a note from the list of notes, do Ctrl+C (as in Windows Explorer) or maybe use a right-click menu to choose “copy as a file”) and paste it “as an md-file” in Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini (or in a folder on my computer). Without exporting it first.
In Netbeans this is possible since a recent version, it’s so much easier than browsing to the file on my computer first.
Hmm, I guess that's technically possible, there could be an action that copy the note content, generates a file from it and put it in the clipboard somehow. Is it that useful though?
Also I wonder why you need to have the note as a file for ChatGPT, etc.? I often paste huge blocks of text in ChatGPT as context and it works fine?
I often copy different files: code, context, prompts,… and it’s easier to have them organized as files instead of 1 big page of text.
Also useful to paste as a document into mail / whatsapp /
Ok that makes sense. I think it might be too niche to add this to the app itself but that would make a good plugin
