What issue do you have?

I currently use dropbox to sync my notes across my macbook, iPhone and iPad. I intend to shift to Joplin Cloud as part of my effort to migrate my notes away from Evernote. What happens to the notes on my dropbox when I move to Joplin Cloud? I'm new to Joplin so if there is some documentation you can point me to that would be great. Thanks

The recommended way is to:

  • First make sure your desktop app is fully synced
  • Then from there export all your notes as a JEX file
  • Now create a new profile in the desktop app
  • Import the JEX file
  • Sync with Joplin Cloud

For the mobile app, it's simpler:

  • Delete it
  • Install it again
  • Sync with Joplin Cloud (it will pick up the notes you've just uploaded from desktop)

Thanks for instructions. Very helpful.
