What issue do you have?

I am a new user since about a week and was happy with the app until today. When I start the app it looks ok at first but after a while (after the app has been minimized) I just see a blank screen. After quitting the app and restarting the notes appear again for a while. It seems I am not alone with this problem and I saw one post here about doing a reset layout ... this did not have an effect.

FYI, I have sync setup with onedrive and the app is installed on 2 computers (one is win10 and other is win11) where both sync with onedrive. So far I have encountered the problem only on the win 11 pc. Thanks for any input on this.

Are you using the Joplin app not sized to fit the screen? If so, try using it maximised all the time. Or if that already is the case, try toggling between maximised and unmaximised to see if that removes the blank state without restarting Joplin

This is fixed in the 3.4.2 pre-release: Release v3.4.2 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub

See: Joplin window goes blank after moving window and then minimizing · Issue #12214 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub

I was running into this issue frequently, and I can confirm that I no longer see the issue in 3.4.2

Yes, toggling between maximize and unmaximize solves the problem. Easy fix indeed :-). Thanks.

Have you had any issues running the pre-release?

@Magnyz There are some teething issues with 3.4, particuarly on mobile. Maybe best to hold off updating for now

I haven’t had any issues (well at least not any new to 3.4 :D), but I only run Joplin on desktop (no mobile)
