This is a feature request.
I’m sure many people would like a true black theme for mobile because of the battery savings.
I know there are more important things to focus on, but I’m under the impression this feature is relatively easy to implement.

It shouldn’t be too difficult, you’ll need to refactor global-style.js a bit to allow for an additional theme, but you can use the desktop theme.js to get an idea about how that can be done. Then you just add the theme to Setting.js.

There’s an old feature request about this on GitHub. I’d accept a PR for this.

A year later,
Guys can anybody do the PR for it,
Just an additional oled dark mode,
Reddit added it lately in their app, besides battery saving it is really practical for late reading before sleep
