Apple Intelligence Writing Tools

I love Joplin, but there is lack of descent AI plugins. I tried Jarvis, but it doesn't work well and smoothly.

Apple now has an API for its apple intelligence writing tools where any selected text can be fed through AI. To me, this seems the easiest way to bring AI to Joplin (at least on mac). Being able to use apple intelligence writing tools would be super useful given that Joplin is primarily for written content.

Is anyone working on adding apple intelligence writing tools to right click menue when text is selected? If yes, how can I help? If not, how can I get started to edit the code to integrate it myself? I have limited programming knowledge, but with some guides and point in right direction, I'm sure I can figure it out.

Thanks for an amazing tool that is Joplin.

This is not working in Joplin.

Any update on this topic?

Apple Intelligence Writing Tools

Apple Intelligence Writing Tools are designed to assist users in writing by providing features such as proofreading, rewriting, and summarizing text. These tools are available on compatible Macs, iPhones, and iPads running at least macOS Sequoia 15.1, iOS 18.1, or iPadOS 18.1. They can be accessed in most places where you write, including third-party apps and websites, and are intended to enhance the quality of your writing rather than replace it.

To use the Writing Tools on a Mac, select the text you want to refine, control-click the selected text, choose Writing Tools, then click Show Writing Tools.

I second that. Thank you very much
