I installed Joplin successfully on my Surface 4 (Windows 10) and Android phone.
Unfortunately it crashes when I try to sync to OneDrive on Fedora 29 (Xfce desktop), using the app image for version 1.0.114.
Any assistance welcome.

you should provide error messages that occur when crashing.
Can you please suggest how to find that? I can’t see an error log in the .joplin folder.
from menu “Tools > Sync status” link “export debug report” will produce a log file.
you can also start the app by hand (from a terminal) and see what is the message in the term once the app crashes
