Hamburger and 3dot button at top of screen is remnant from times when phones were smaller and you could reach top of phone with thumb. With todays phones that is impossible and most important apps are bringing important interactive UI elements to bottom.
Suggestion how to implement it:
Configuration - Appearance - "move hamburger / 3dot bar to bottom" checkmark setting.
Enabling this setting would bring the bar to bottom above navbar and below editor toolbar. Or above navbar and below plus button. This will not solve all UX issues and maybe can make design feel cluttered at bottom for someone but nevertheless I think it would improve usability.
