What codebase does the browser add on use for simplifying the page into a nice, readable markdown document? Is it available in Python?
I’m working on a project that would benefit from simplifying pages from URL addresses.
Are you asking about the webclipper? It’s in the main repo here.
It uses readability.js for the snipping bit (turning pages into something simpler). There are at least a couple python ports of that library like this one: https://github.com/buriy/python-readability.
