Update Joplin Server installed without docker

Hello,

I installed and I'm using Joplin iOS app and onPrem Joplin Server 2.10.5.

do you know if there's an apt repo that can take care of updates ?
or do I need to manually update it ?
if so is there any script/procedure ?
I think I have to make some backup before, of what ?
