Password for app & confidential notes/tasks

Hi,

I confirm that these lacks of password to start client and optional password for reading a confidential note or task are the main reason for not switching to Joplin.

External security like crypted containers are workarounds not always applicable on mobiles and not desired by everyone.

Another reason for not switching to Joplin could be, the author’s decision to close/limit the topic 289.

Sure you’re the boss on your app, but I personnally appreciate to use apps/author that permit to participate to suggestions that are globally recognized as crucial improvement.

It’s locked because nobody has anything new to say about it (just like you). It’s in the GSoC, and PRs are welcome, beyond that it’s pointless to go on and on repeating the same thing.
