Does Joplin encrypt ALL notes or only those in the Encrypted Folder? If ALL notes are encrypted then why is there a designated folder? Is there a way to make all notes / tasks encrypted by default?
Without further information it appears that what you are seeing is a notebook (currently containing four notes) that has been downloaded from the sync server to your client but the notebook name has not been decrypted yet.
Note that Joplin does not encrypt your notes locally on your device. If activated, End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) ensures that your notes are encrypted as they leave your computer (one "end" of the chain), whilst en route to a third-party sync server (in addition to HTTPS), whilst at rest on the sync server, and whilst being downloaded to another client (the other "end" of the chain). It is to prevent any third-party you use for syncing your notes being able to read your notes.
So:
Locally they are not, externally they are.
There isn't.
Thank you for explaining it!
