Move a notebook OUT of another one?

So once you set a notebook as a "sub"-notebook it turns out that it is straight impossible to get it out now.

That's extremely frustrating. Is there a way I can drag a notebook OUT of another one? I can't find it.

Drag it to the top 'notebooks' title and it should go in as a top level item
