I look forward to the sync button being refactored to be displayable in the sidebar or the toolbar.
With background sync left for volunteers to tackle, anything simplifying sync and reducing sidebar use on mobile is welcome.
I already dislike having to manually sync my notes. Forcing me to open the sidebar daily, if not more frequently, to sync makes it worse. It distracts me from taking notes, forces me to create new notes on mobile to avoid note conflicts, and makes me care less about UI consistency.
Also, the more I see Discourse polls for questions non-Discourse users can reasonably answer, the worse of a feature I think it is.
